A galaxy-wide adventure awaits you in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. It is a single-player game with a story in which you step into the shoes of a Jedi Padawan who miraculously managed to escape the purge of Order 66 after the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. Your mission is to rebuild the Jedi Order, and to do so, you must recover from your tortured past to complete your training, develop powerful new Force abilities, and master the art of fighting with the legendary lightsaber. And you must do so by always staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.
While mastering their skills, players will be involved in Force and lightsaber combat with a strong cinematic component that seeks to convey the intensity of lightsaber battles from the Star Wars films. They will have to confront the enemy strategically, evaluating their strengths and weaknesses, while cleverly using their Jedi training to overcome their rivals and solve the mysteries that arise along the way.
Star Wars fans will recognize legendary enemies, locations, weapons and costumes, while also encountering an array of characters, locations, creatures, droids and adversaries new to the Star Wars universe. As part of this authentic Star Wars story, players will enter a galaxy that has recently been occupied by the Empire. As Jedi heroes turned fugitives, they must fight to survive while exploring the mysteries of an extinct civilization to try to rebuild the Jedi Order from its vestiges, while the Empire seeks to eliminate the Jedi completely.
